TiviMate is a popular IPTV player for Android TV devices, known for its clean design and its classic TV guide layout. You add the Xtream Codes details from your IPTV provider, and the app turns your playlist into an experience that feels like regular cable or satellite TV.
This TiviMate guide explains which devices the app supports, how to add your Xtream Codes login step by step, what TiviMate Premium adds and how to fix the most common problems.
Please note: IPTVCodeXtream does not sell subscriptions, provide logins or host any streams. Only use services that are authorized to distribute the channels they offer. See our Disclaimer for details.
TiviMate IPTV Player is a media player for IPTV playlists. Like other players, it includes no channels or content. It connects to your provider’s server with the login details you enter and shows your live channels in a programme guide that is easy to browse with a remote control.
An Xtream Code is a set of login details from your IPTV provider: a username, a password and a server URL such as http://example.com:8080. The app uses these details to connect to your provider through the Xtream Codes API. If you do not have login details yet, read our guide on how to get a free IPTV Xtream Code through a legitimate trial.
The app is made for Android TV, so it works best on devices that you control with a remote:
There is no version for iPhone, Apple TV, Samsung or LG Smart TVs, Roku or Windows. On those devices, use a player such as IBO Player or IPTV Smarters Pro instead.
Follow this step-by-step tutorial to add your Xtream Codes login to TiviMate. The screenshots show the current app layout on Android TV. Menu names can differ slightly between app versions.
Open the TiviMate app on your Android TV, Google TV or Fire OS device. On the welcome screen, select Add playlist to begin the setup process.
The app asks which type of playlist you want to add. Choose Xtream Codes from the available playlist options. This is the option for the username, password and server URL from your IPTV provider.
Get the Xtream Codes details supplied by your IPTV provider (see how to get IPTV Xtream Code). You usually find them in your welcome email or customer account. You need three details: your Username, your Password and the Server URL.
Fill in the fields with the details from your provider:
http:// or https:// and the port number if your provider gave one.
Check every field for typing mistakes and extra spaces. Once you have entered your login information, press Next to proceed. The app connects to your provider’s server and checks your details.
The app processes your playlist and shows how many channels, movies and series it found. Wait until the playlist has loaded successfully, then give it a name if you like and tap Done. With Xtream Codes, the programme guide usually loads automatically. If it stays empty, add the EPG link from your provider in the playlist settings.
Everything is ready. The app opens its TV guide with your channels and programme information. You can now enjoy streaming your favourite live TV channels, movies and series.
The basic version of TiviMate is free. It lets you add one playlist and watch your live channels with the programme guide. TiviMate Premium unlocks extra features, including:
You buy Premium with the TiviMate Companion app on an Android phone. Sign in to the same account on your TV device to unlock Premium there. Subscription and one-time options are offered, and prices can vary by country, so check the current offer in the Companion app before you pay. Premium unlocks app features only and includes no channels.
TiviMate is the best choice if you want a classic TV guide on an Android TV box. If you use a phone, a tablet or a Windows PC, read our IPTV Smarters Pro guide. For Samsung and LG Smart TVs or Apple devices, see our IBO Player guide.
Your Xtream Codes login details always come from your IPTV service provider. Installing TiviMate does not create them, because it is a player only and includes no channels.
After you buy a subscription or receive an authorized trial, look for your details in the welcome email, your customer account or messages from your provider. Keep your username, password and server URL private, and never share them publicly.
Looking for a provider? Compare your options using the button below.
Copy the complete server address from your provider, including http:// or https:// and the port number if one was supplied. Type your username and password again and watch for extra spaces and upper or lower case letters.
Open the playlist settings and update the EPG. If it stays empty, add the EPG link from your provider as a separate source.
Check that your subscription is still active. Restart your router and your TV device, use a wired connection where possible and pause downloads on other devices.
Multiple playlists, catch-up and recording need Premium. Check that you are signed in to the same account on your TV device that you used in the Companion app.
Fire TV devices with Vega OS cannot install apps from outside the Amazon Appstore. On Fire OS devices, check that Downloader is allowed to install unknown apps.
Follow our step-by-step device guides for Android and Amazon Firestick, or see our guides for Samsung and LG Smart TVs, Apple TV, iPhone, PC and Mac and Roku.
